EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Lillian M. Strickland is the Founder and Executive Director of the Youth Mental Health Initiative, where she leads community-driven efforts to advance youth mental health through advocacy, education, and collective action. As a dedicated organizer, she partners with schools, local organizations, and community leaders to strengthen support systems and expand access to mental health resources for youth and families.
Lillian holds a Masters of Education in Special Education Administration and brings her experience as an educator to the forefront of her work. She believes mental health is the foundation for learning, resilience, and lifelong success. Guided by compassion and purpose, she is committed to empowering communities, uplifting young voices, and ensuring every child has the support they need to thrive.

Gladys Davis
EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATOR
Gladys is a multifaceted professional with a robust background in spiritual care and community outreach. An Ordained minister and former Board Certified Chaplain (B.C.C.), she has over a decade of experience providing crisis intervention and pastoral support at institutions. Her expertise extends into holistic health as a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and agriculture, as a 2023 USDA Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Grant (SARE) recipient. She combines high-level critical thinking, with practical technical experience in specialty crop production, sustainable cultivation techniques, and agricultural extension protocols.
She has balanced her professional life with a period dedicated to child rearing. Gladys returned to the workforce full-time, operating to assist in establishing the foundation for Youth Mental Health Initiative.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Creative and strategic in equal measure, our Creative Director ensures that every campaign reflects the heart of our shared mission and the communities we serve. As a father and dedicated youth advocate, he understands firsthand the vital role men play in shaping safe, supportive spaces for young people.
His perspective grounds our work in authenticity and accountability, helping us show up in ways that truly reflect who we are. Together, our leadership remains aligned in advancing thoughtful, community-centered impact.

Korinne Roberts, LCSW
DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL SERVICES
Korinne Roberts, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker with experience across emergency, outpatient, and community mental health settings.
She brings a community-based, systems-oriented lens to youth mental health, prioritizing trauma-informed, culturally responsive care and reducing barriers to access. Korinne is committed to strengthening youth mental health systems through thoughtful program design, clinical integrity, and partnerships that center dignity, clarity, and long-term impact.
